On your Trac System login page, there are two information boxes on either side of the screen. On the left, we have our campus info box, this contains our campus name, help link, and a description of our campus. On the right, we have our Redrock Welcome Message.
These boxes are managed via the “LoginLinkData” system preference, and that’s what we’ll be going over in this week’s Newsletter.
To access these settings, go to Trac Navigation > Trac Man icon > Utilities and Prefs > System Prefs > “LoginLinkData”
This will open up the LoginLinkData menu. Here, we can change the various elements of the campus info box and enable or disable the Redrock Welcome Message. For our campus box, we have a WYSIWYG editor to write our description. This supports images, hyperlinks, text formatting tools, and more.
Once we click save, the changes are applied and we can head back to the login screen to check out our changes.
