Creating Tasks for Students

TracCloud can give you and your staff the ability to assign tasks to students, which the student themselves can mark as completed. For example, if I wanted to have a student book another appointment with a consultant, I could simply go to their profile and add the task from the Actions menu.

You’re then given an opportunity to enter additional information, including the specific task, due date, and additional notes to be shared with the student. Access to different Task Types is determined by Permission Groups, so you can ensure that users can only submit the Task Types that they should be allowed to manage.

This would then appear in the student’s notification list, pictured below. Students are allowed to click the pencil icon to mark the task as completed and/or edit notes. Completed tasks appear on the Tasks Listing (Other > Tasks), and on the specific student’s timeline for later review.
