What is Whiteboard?
- Whiteboard provides a virtual environment for students and consultants to work together in tutoring, writing, or advising scenarios. Whiteboard provides a simple virtual environment, or room, for your consultants to work with students. If you are starting an online advising or tutoring program, Whiteboard may give you all the tools you need for consultants and students to work out mathematical graphs and equations, review a paper, or share documents.
How do I set up Whiteboard?
- As an owner of the whiteboard module, you will be able to schedule a time to meet with a single student or a group of students through the Whiteboard module. When you create an availability in TracCloud you will be able to determine if the availability is Online or in-person. If the ability is set to “Online” you will then be able to determine the meeting Location, whether it be Zoom or WebEx or in this case Whiteboard.

At the time of the scheduled Whiteboard appointment, both the student and the Consultant will be able to click on the online meeting link from their home Dashboard under the Upcoming Appointment area. This link highlighted below in the screen shot will appear 30 minutes prior to the start of the appointment by default. However, there is a setting that can be managed which will allow you to adjust the number of minutes before the appointment start time to determine when the online link displays on the dashboard.
