Custom form improvements, new report options, a new workshop feature, and more in TracCloud for the month of October 2026.
Custom Forms
Custom Form Improvements
- TracCloud's Custom Forms feature has received several improvements in the latest update to make it easier to manage responses.
- Custom form responses can now be manually reassigned to other staff.
- You can now filter to only incomplete responses in the hamburger menu of the custom form responses listing.
- Permission groups can now be restricted to only viewing their own custom form responses.
- The custom form listing is now sorted by newest to oldest by default.
- A button to quickly open linked student records has been added to response records.
- A delete button has been added to custom form response records.
- A confirmation message is now shown when successfully submitting a response from the dashboard.
Reports
- You can now select an alternative grade field (e.g., a midterm grade custom field) in SI Comparison.
- Section schedule data can now be added as an additional field in the Registrations by ?? report.
Additional Changes
- You can now open student records by clicking on their names in Workshop rosters.
- A footer message can now be added to the asynchronous message screen in profile prefs.
- When updating student or staff usernames, extra spaces are now trimmed automatically.
- You can now limit how many times reminder emails are resent for Appointment Invites.
- Survey responses now have character limits. Essay/larger text entry fields are limited to 5000 characters, while fill-in/smaller text boxes are limited to 1000.
