Did you know that TracCloud has the capability to track item usage? This is accomplished with resources, which can be reserved and checked out to both students and staff. Resource can be used to track calculators, laptops, models, books, tablets, and more. For users with the appropriate permissions, resources can be checked out from the dashboard for your users to utilize! Go to Other > Log Resource.

Upon checkout, a resource confirmation email containing details of their checkout as well as the return due date will be sent to the user. If they do not return the item in time, additional overdue notices can be sent. These emails can be customized from your profile email preferences, detailed here.

To return an item, the same process is repeated. This time from the log resource window, it will prompt you to return the item instead. If a collateral item (such as a student ID card) was also checked out, you will be prompted to return it at the same time.
