==Custom Kiosks==
==Payroll and Work Hour Tracking==

Custom Kiosks are a great way to manage and track visits for workshops or for groups of students coming into your center. Custom Kiosks can be accessed by staff from the kiosk listing after they are saved. However, these Kiosks are custom and have Centers, Reason, Staff, and Sections all predefined. This way, students can swipe their card or enter their ID and move on without having to make any of the normal selections of a general Kiosk. This Custom option allows for quick and efficient login and logout. No lines for students to wait in, just an easy scan-and-go process. Custom Kiosks work best when all students visiting are logging in for the same center or visiting for a specific reason and/or section.

Did you know that you can track staff hours and payroll data within TracCloud? There are several ways to accomplish this, you can determine how work hours are calculated, who can manage work visits, and different pay rates for different work types.

For Workshops, some institutions often choose Batch Visits with QR codes to track visits for groups and workshops. To find out more about workshops, [[TracCloudGuideBasicsVisits|Click Here.]]

To create a new Custom Kiosk, go to Other > Other Options > Profiles > [Your Profile] > Prefs > Select the option “Log Listing Message, Kiosk Notices, and Custom Kiosks”. Under Custom KIOSK Options, you can begin to create your Kiosk.
You can track staff hours based on 1 of 3 possible criteria. Schedule, where work hours are based on hours of availability. You can also use Work Types to change pay rate based on whether or not the availability was booked. Another option is Visits, in this case, staff work hours would be based on the hours they worked with students. If the student Sam Smith met with Jane Doe for 50-minutes, TracCloud would automatically count that as 50-minutes of work time for Jane.
Click [+] to create a new Kiosk
Click on the words “New Custom Kiosk” to add a unique name to the Kiosk
Then Select the right facing arrow for additional set up options highlighted in blue from the screen shot below.

Lastly, and most popular, Consultant Work Time. If this option is used, staff accounts are allowed to log themselves in and out of their work visits from their dashboard or a kiosk, similar to how a student would log themselves in and out on a kiosk for their own visits.
Next you will then add your options to the Kiosk: Center, Reason, Section, & Location.
Regardless of which method you use to track work hours, you can report on that data and TracCloud can calculate the total compensation for all of your consultants. You can run the Payroll report like the screenshot below, or use Visits by ?? to see details on the individual work visits that took place.
